This is the newest (and best) port to the Macintosh of ye olde Unix password cracker, Crack 4.1. MacKrak 2.0 is in beta, and it seems ready to roll -- much faster than its predecessor, MacCrac alpha. You currently need a Webster's dictionary file (about 2.3 megs, ftp'able from some sites somewhere that carry dict files), it may be uploaded soon and inserted in this archive.
A very useful tool for getting you free Internet access :) and 100 percent safe, since you're doing it on your own Mac .. not some school's Alpha server, with about 20 proccesses logging everything you do. Blink, and you're expelled from the university, or your account is deleted from your commercial provider! Take it from someone who knows firsthand what he's talkin about ;)
